Was kommt den jetzt ? -Updates zum HTC HD 7

 

Wie bereits angekündigt, werden die ersten Devices im Oktober (je nach Gerücht zwischen 11. und 21.) Europa erreichen. Leider, (oder bewusst?) sind nicht wirklich viele News bekannt, was dann wirklich verfügbar sein soll. Ich wollte ja ursprünglich vor allem über den Schweizer Markt berichten. Aber hier herscht, sagen wir mal,  “Toten Stille”. Auch meine Kontakte (welche bislang eigentlich sehr informativ waren) wollen / können / dürfen hier anscheinend nichts dazu sagen. Speziell finde ich auch, dass so kurz vor dem “Big Bang” keine wirklichen, bestätigten News da sind. Im spezillen von HTC und von meinem heiss ersehnten oder erwarteten HD 7. Also, starte ich heute halt mit den Geräten, welche “mehr oder weniger* bestätigt sind: (Dazu klau ich der einfacheit auch gleich den Text und die Bilder bei XDA Devs und Engadget. The device will have a 1Ghz Processor (which is just enough for WP7), 256 MB Ram, Screen looks like a 3.5, 8GB Memory (which is my only problem with it), 5MP Camera (which is all good), GSM for Europe (sorry Australia and USA), and is expected to be available on launch day.

Now for another device that I think looks decent, the HTC T8788. This device is the best thing so far by HTC and comes with a decent spec sheet that looks the same as everyone else’s. The device will have a 1Ghz processor, 256 MB RAM, Screen size is bigger than 3.5, Atleast 8GB memory, and this will be a AT&T device for the US readers.

Now, on to the most talked about upcoming WP7 device, the Dell Lighting. This device was leaked and announced just a few hours after WP7 was and gush darn it, everyone loves it to death.

The device comes with a lot of specifications that we can just about confirm since it can be found in official docs. It will carry a WVGA 4.1 inch OLED display from Samsung that should be good enough for web browsing and playing in the xbox hub. Then on to the 5MP Auto Focus camera that does not say if it has flash but hopefully it does. The other specs are 1GB ROM, 512 RAM, Micro SD Slot (which we thought were not allowed), Wifi, GPS, and the usual. The device will have T-mobile, At&t, and Euro 3G so I am guessing it will get around to everyone.

Many people are waiting for this device, and hopefully you will get it.

Now lets take a left turn to one of what I think is the least attractive WP7 devices, the HTC Mozart. This device is rumored to be taking home at T-mobile USA and was originally leaked by our forum member Xmoo. The device has the standard specifications and is said to be going around the world and have a 3.7 inch display and a aluminum unibody design.  The rest of the specs are a min of 8GB storage, at least 256 of RAM and more.

Here is another Euro bound device that doesn’t look half bad called the LG E900. The device was leaked just a few weeks ago, and has some good specs that meet the WP7 minimum requirements. It will start with a 3.8 inch display, 16GB of storage space, DLNA support, and the usual GPS, 3 sensors, Wi-Fi, and all.

This is the last of the devices, the At&t bound LG C900. This device will have a landscape qwerty form factor, which is going to be funny since Metro does not work in landscape. The device’s screen is a 3.5, which is just minimum and will also have DLNA support and should be available in November like all other WP7 device.

Und nun zu meinem eigentlichen “Favoriten”. Leider ist von HTC überhaupt nichts zu erfahren, zum andern ist auch vom HD 3 (HD7) überhaupt (fast) nichts bekannt. Vor 3 Tagen wurde erstmals dieses Bild bekannt. (Man weiss, dass HTC das “Schubert” und das “Mozart” bringen wird, aber über das ursprünglich genannte HD3 und nun neu HD7 weiss man eigentlich gar rein gar nichts)

Nachdem ja bekannt wurde, dass das HD3 nun HD7 heissen soll, sind Gerüchte aufgetaucht, dass O2 in UK das HD7 am 18. Oktober an den Start bringen will. Zunächt nach wie vor, wilde Spekulationen. Inzwischen ist dies anscheinden Auch bei anderen O2 “Ländern” (z.B Deutschland) ist das HD7 anscheinend auf Listen erschienen.

Vor 3 Tagen wurden dann plötzlich auf den einschlägigen Foren diese Bilder “geleakt”

Und ein Tag später, welcher Zufall, kamen dann die ersten “echten” Bilder:

Die ersten Bilder sah ich auf einer koreanischen Seite, wo deutlich merh Bilder zu sehen waren. Leider sind die Bilder auf dieser Seite “verschwunden”. Dehshalb poste ich mal, was noch auf Engadet zu sehen ist :

 

 

 

Ehrlich gesagt, wenn ich dann die Specs lese (alles auch nur Spekultaionen) dann bin ich doch sehr entäuscht… (War doch mal die Rede von mind. 16GB Flash, 8MP Cam und einem deutlich bessern Screen). Aber auch hier! Nichts genaues weiss man nicht, und das knapp 2 Wochen vor dem “Go Live”. Strange  

 

Ich hätte deutlich mehr Memory, höhere Auflösung, bessere Cam usw. erwartet. Kling alles nach einheitsbrei, resp. nach meinem HD2. But.. we will see.

 

Ps: Keine einzige Info bislang von Schweizer Providern. Einzige Aussage dich ich Euch sagen kann, kommt vom OS Hersteller… und der beteuert… ja, wird auch in der CH verfügbar sein… so long…. in 2 Wochen wissen wir mehr !
